This art is inspired by Alphonse Mucha's Daydream, but with a touch of Indian flavour. I tried to create a fusion of my favourite art styles, Art Nouveau and Madhubani, both coming from two different lands but seamlessly merging under this digital painting.

The colour palette belongs to the late 19th century Art Nouveau style, however, the painting majorly leans towards the local Madhubani art found in the northern hemisphere of India.

This portrait is of my dearest friend Manavi. Over here, she is wearing Indian jewels and jasmine flowers.

The Banasari saree pattern displayed over here is one of the finest patterns for sarees found in India.

The zodiac signs surrounding the lady were majorly seen in Art Nouveau works, however here it is drawn in a Madhubani style.

Over here we see a snake, a Bengal tiger, a lotus, Sitar, and the river Ganges all symbolising Indian culture.
